SICK

Oh my goodness. This week has been AWFUL!!! My whole family is sick, and everyone got to go to the doctor and get meds except for me! My voice is so shot I can barely talk, and I sound like a dying animal when I do talk. I am teaching all subjects, and it doesn't help my voice any. I missed one day of school this week, but I was afraid to miss anymore because I need to get my hours in. Then I worried about getting my cooperating teacher sick and the students sick. I was soooo sick last night. I wanted to get up and do homework and other things that I needed to get done, but I couldn't. I just laid there coughing and drifting in and out of consciousness.

Anyway, that is all I can really remember from this week. Teaching is going great. I have no problems there. Just my health this week. Let's hope I get better soon:)

Roxanne,

I will pray for you and your family to have a speedy recovery. I can't imagine how much work teaching all subjects must be. I only have language arts, and I am up to my eyeballs in work. If anyone can get through this, you can...What a trooper!

Roxanne,

Hang in there! I know how you feel ... I started getting sick on Feb 2 and it has only gotten worse this week. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. It is hard teaching when you are sick and having to stay up late to get your lessons done, take care of the family, feed them, do laundry...should I go on! Ha! ha!
You hang in there and lean on God for strength, as I know you do, He will take care of you. And, your friends will be praying for you.

Stacy and Teresa,
I thank you both so much for your prayers! I so appreciate them and need them, too:)

I went to the doctor last week. Had to take a day off from teaching. She gave me antibiotics and told me I was DOING TOO MUCH!!! Imagine that. She told me that I had to REST and resist the temptation to do anything while I was home that day. I thought she must be reading my mind because of course I thought about the million things I needed to do and get caught up on, but I felt miserable. I did rest, and I'm feeling better now.

My family is better, too.

This is really hard teaching all subjects. In addition, making the lesson plans, keeping up with the portfolio for student teaching and the portfolio for this class. I am still doing medical transcription. Can you believe that???? How, I don't really know. I am so tired all the time and burned out. I can't wait until I can quit doing medical transcription and get a job as a teacher!!!!

Keep praying for me, and I will keep you both in my prayers also.
